- Work with Environmental Health staff to develop and maintain data workflows and reporting.
- Work with Environmental Health staff to act as a project manager, clarifying needs and define project scopes, for data and application related projects.
- Develop workflows to capture and maintain Environmental Health KPIs and other process measures and reporting as needed.
- Develop and manage data and processes to store and provide access through web-based applications to climate data in alignment with strategic plan and program goals.
- Serve as a backup applications administrator for data and workflows for Healthspace.
- Develop and implement data governance processes.
- Develop tools (web apps, dashboards, surveys, etc.) for others to capture, store, organize, and understand data.
- Utilize design software to produce clear, accessible, and visually appealing deliverables with appropriate citations.
- Uphold data security and privacy requirements (HIPAA).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of an integrated data system related to EH data and workflows.
- Clean, merge, and manage multiple data sources.
- Conduct and document initial quality control checks on new data received.
- Support data analysis and reporting.
- Design and implement surveys.
- Develop marketing and promotional material for Environmental Health programs.
- Manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Collaborate with other departments, and occasionally, external contractors.
- Manage project communications.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation.
- Use of Monday.com to document project connections, file paths, data sources, and deliverables.
- Able to quickly understand and effectively describe workflow processes.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with management.
- Understand and implement ETL processes.
- Maintain an organized file structure and use consistent naming convention.
- Must be comfortable creating/figuring out new processes and have an eye for improving those processes whenever possible.
- Preprocess data from various sources and formats to utilize in visualizations.
- Create visually appealing, custom data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that help readers understand the data.

- Three years' increasingly responsible professional experience in IT, business administration, business support, or a closely related field, including 3 years SaaS and SQL language experience is required.
- Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Public Health, Data Science, Health Informatics, Environment Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- A master's degree may substitute for 1 year of required professional experience.
- None required.
- Professional certifications such as the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), university professional certificate program, Project Management, or relevant certifications preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
