This is an Australian first, mixing lifestyle and engineering as a unique employee value proposition in Australia.Our hypothesis is, if you provide people great work and an excellent environment combined with a lifestyle, engineers are more likely to join, stay and grow.We are reimaging our digital platforms to deliver the best customer experience in the market, and you could be part of a team that is instrumental in delivery cutting edge technology into the hands of millions of our customers.The Gold Coast Engineering team is responsible for the technology that is the powerhouse for Consumer and Business Banking Digital Technology.NOTE: Open to candidates in Sydney or Gold CoastHow will I help?While primarily responsible for Quality Assurance of the shippable product, with in the capacity candidate is expected to proactively contribute in all agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives) to ensure that every user story to meet Definition Of Done (DOD).
  • Raise any defects found during test and escalate in accordance with set procedures to ensure resolution of issues within appropriate timeframes to minimise impact on project quality and schedule
  • Manage test infrastructure and execution of automated tests, and continuously
  • maintain automated test cases
  • Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improve mobile app
  • performance.
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Identify the Automatable and non-automatable Sprint/Release test scope
  • Automation and manual validation\testing of banking apps on iOS and Android apps
  • Functional and non-functional testing of the digital product

  • Minimum 5 years Automation and functional testing experience
  • Experience in API testing and use of tools like POSTMAN, Charles and BURP
  • Mobile app automation using Appium
  • Web app automation using Selenium
  • Knowledge in one of the languages - Java/Kotlin/C#
  • Working experience of CI/CD using Bamboo, Jenkins or any equivalent tool
  • Code management tool like Git or any equivalent tool
  • Ability to work with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as, Java, HTML,
  • as well as XML and JSON feeds.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
  • Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
  • Previous experience in the banking sector is an advantage
  • Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, test reporting
  • Cucumber / Gherkins is an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with the business
  • Growth mindset and not afraid of a challenge
