- Provide expert care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to monitor maternal and fetal health and progress during labor.
- Assist with the management of labor pain and provide emotional support to mothers and their families.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with medical interventions as necessary during childbirth.
- Facilitate bonding and breastfeeding initiation between mothers and newborns immediately after delivery.
- Monitor and care for newborns, ensuring they are stable and adjusting to life outside the womb.
- Educate mothers and families on newborn care, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding techniques.
