School: Private British Curriculum K-18 for female local and expatriate children
Affiliation: Premium Independent School in the UKPosition Available: English up to A-level - also need to be able to teach science at GCSE and A-level.
Qualifications Required:
BEd English + 2 years of experience
BSc English + 4 years of experience
BSc English + PGCE English + 2 years of experience
Other Requirments:
- Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
- High levels of subject knowledge.
- A proven track record of high-quality teaching.
- A strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
- An understanding of the demands of a UK independent day school.environment.
- A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students.
- Experience of curriculum development in your subject.
- Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice.
- Experience of working with children who have English as a Second Language - preferred
Accommodation: The salary quoted above is inclusive of allowance for housing / support will be given on arrival. Teachers should budget at least 300-400 OR/month for housing
