- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement strategies that support the unique learning needs of the SEND child.
- Provide individualized support and encouragement to facilitate the student's academic and social development.
- Adapt and differentiate learning materials to meet the specific requirements of the child.
- Collaborate with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record progress, communicating effectively with parents and relevant stakeholders.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Understanding and empathy for the challenges faced by children with SEND.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with the teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in response to the unique needs of the child.
