Education: Completion of Grade 10. Completion of Grade 12 may be considered an asset. A current acceptable criminal record check is required. This position may have to work at VIDO and employment is subject to successfully meeting strict security and confidentiality requirements.Experience: Minimum one (1) year Caretaking and/or cleaning experience in an institutional/hospitality setting, and experience working safely with chemicals and power cleaning equipment are considered assets. Customer and teamwork experience essential.Skills: Basic English reading, verbal and written communication skills at the appropriate level for the position; effective interpersonal and communication skills; customer oriented; familiarity with the appropriate power equipment; attention to detail; ability to work well independently and with others as part of a team; demonstrated ability to adapt to changing tasks and work environments; physical requirements such as being able to lift and move 25 lbs, and standing, walking, bending, moving for extended periods of time; and time management skills.Department: Custodial Operations

Salary: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $16.35 - 19.61 per hour. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
