We are recruiting for Class Teacher to work in Edgbaston, Birmingham.If you are graduating as an ECT this summer and looking for work in September we have roles available covering long-term sickness, maternity cover, and resignations.Whether you are looking for a full class planning role or would like to gain more experience in the classroom covering short-term and day-to-day supply needs – we can help you secure your first teaching position.We can offer you a variety of work, in various schools, teaching across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2); giving you valuable teaching experience. We can even help find you a school to support your ECT (formally known as NQT).Working as a supply teacher you will:
  • Deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
  • Work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met.
  • Provide feedback to pupils, in line with the school’s policy.
  • Attend meetings and training relevant to this role.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupil and parents.
  • Set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.
To apply for this supply teacher role you will need the following:
  • Currently completing a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.
  • Confidence in teaching primary lessons to all abilities.
  • A passion for education and a desire to create better outcomes for all of your students
  • Be adaptable and reliable, reacting with confidence to new challenges.
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references required.
