- Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported to achieve their full potential.
- Use a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to promote active learning, critical thinking, and independent inquiry among students.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate their learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress, set meaningful learning goals, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
- Create opportunities for students to develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through collaborative projects and activities.
- Establish clear expectations for behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably within a UK-based school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective pedagogical practices for teaching upper primary students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring and empowering students to achieve their best.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
- Knowledge of assessment techniques and strategies for tracking student progress and supporting individual learning needs.
