Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our vibrant team. As a KS2 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students, fostering their intellectual curiosity and supporting their academic and personal growth as they prepare for the next stage of their education.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to promote active learning, critical thinking, and independent inquiry among students.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress, set meaningful learning goals, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Create opportunities for students to develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through collaborative projects and activities.
  • Establish clear expectations for behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school community.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably within a UK-based school setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective pedagogical practices for teaching upper primary students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring and empowering students to achieve their best.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
  • Knowledge of assessment techniques and strategies for tracking student progress and supporting individual learning needs.
