WSE also maintains partnerships with 100+ rights holders and sports properties, providing always-on programming to followers of the internet's largest and most engaged social communities.As the Content Operations & Development Coordinator at Wave Sports + Entertainment, you will play a key role in expanding WSE’s slate of Originals. This position requires a creative and organized individual with a track record of contributing to the daily operations of a content and talent-centric organization. The ideal candidate will have a background working with talent agencies and managers. This position will report directly to the Chief Content Officer and will be a key support to the CCO in their daily operations.Responsibilities
  • Manage prospective talent tracking and show documents
  • Conduct market research to identify content and talent opportunities, audience preferences, and emerging trends in the sports and entertainment digital landscape
  • Work with creative leads to build original content decks/presentation materials for both internal and external use
  • Manage timetables for talent outreach and follow-ups
  • Maintain database of existing shows and related industry projects
  • Effectively build and foster relationships with peers within the industry
  • Coordinate and schedule key meetings for content executives
  • Work in WSE’s Santa Monica office 2-3 days per week
Qualifications
  • Experience in talent representation and/or content production spaces
  • Background working at a talent agency is preferred
  • Strong network within the sports, entertainment, and digital media industries
  • Proactive, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and solve problems promptly
  • Strong understanding of digital media trends and how audiences consume content across platforms.
  • Highly skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute creative ideas to elevate the company's content portfolio

Actual salary at the time of offer may vary based on multiple factors, including an individual's level of experience and qualifications. Physical Requirements + Work Environment
  • Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and hardware.
  • The ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately.
  • Work is sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of work hours.
  • Able to work full-time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
  • The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office.
