- Supports the surgical teams through training and knowledge of the technical use of company products.
- Maintains the product training manual, materials, and programs.
- Documents and reports any product failures or customer complaints.
- Provides feedback and recommendations for product improvement, and potential new products with appropriate departments.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and responsiveness to clients.
- Tests all instruments and equipment before and after surgery to identify and separate all items with defects.
- Promotes company products and procedures with potential surgeons and external clients.
- Maintains a sterile environment for the patient and surgical team before, during and after surgery.
- Documents and reports any product failures or customer complaints.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize with competing responsibilities.
- Basic ability to communicate cross-functionally and work under stressful conditions.
- Essential computer knowledge with basic skills in MS Office applications
- Be qualified for and maintain privileges at all required hospitals.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree
- Able to travel up to 25%
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
