Finstek is looking for a Head of IT / Technical Support to join our Executive team. You will be overseeing our IT infrastructure which is driving the mission-critical systems of our broker clients, including smooth operation of trading platform operations (both MT4/MT5 and proprietary ones) used by clients around the globe. You will also be in charge of the 24/5.5 support team that is responsible for providing customer support and also for monitoring/troubleshooting/maintaining all parts of our systems.We are looking for a person who will be managing teams and training people, setting the overall strategy, creating and implementing processes, and at the same time a hands-on technical person who is able to find out what is happening when needed.Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily activities
  • Oversee the reliable operation of Finstek services (MT4/MT5/proprietary trading platform/bridge) ensuring the best practices of maintaining the servers' health are in place
  • Responsible for trading support engineers, specialising in MT4/MT5 and operating across 2 global locations (in Europe and Asia)
  • Manage and maintain Office365, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure services and resources.
  • Manage on-premises servers, including hardware provisioning, software installation, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that drive business growth
  • Develop a strategy as it relates to the trading infrastructure - computer and information systems, disaster recovery
Requirements
  • 5+ years of managing operational/support/IT teams and successfully overseeing and delivering technology projects
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration
  • Experience with cloud providers will be a plus (Azure)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and teams across the entire organisation
  • Fluent written and spoken English
