We are looking for a driven person with a broad interest in handling corporate law and governance matters. This role will include providing pragmatic advice and support to the Director Corporate Legal and to the global JET business on corporate governance topics, covering all requirements and obligations in relation to the listed entity and its boards, such as mandatory filings, preparation of recurring MB and SB meetings and committees, (extraordinary) shareholders meetings, coordination of share issuance, buyback and cancellation processes and preparing governance sections for the annual report and website.In addition, there will be a key focus on drafting, streamlining and improving documents, processes and policies, on governance topics related to the listed entity, such as related parties, insider trading etc. This is all critical to our continued growth as a business, and maintaining JET’s reputation as a brand that customers, partners and investors trust.These are some of the key ingredients for the role:You’ll provide legal support to the Director Corporate Legal and the business to maintain and optimise the governance structure.You’ll be drafting a wide range of policies, processes, templates and documents.You’ll be responsible for high-quality advice and documents with minimal supervision.You’ll be developing in-house standards and precedents.You’ll ensure that governance risks are managed and escalated as necessary.You’ll ensure compliance with the Dutch Corporate Governance Code and AFM requirements (and other applicable legislation).You’ll support and guide your colleagues in the Corporate Legal team on corporate restructuring initiatives as time permits.You’ll be part of a fantastic team of legal experts across multiple markets, but will also need to be comfortable working independently, applying specialised knowledge with minimal supervision and limited input from external experts.As a good communicator, you’re able to answer questions and present information in an easy-to-understand way.
