We are proud to offer package that includes competitive pay, generous vacation package, 8 paid holidays, and excellent benefit package for fulltime employees.PAY DETAILS:Hourly Wage of $23-$24Key ResponsibilitiesResponds to both customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediatelyMaintains problem logbook to record the equipment in need of repair and prioritizes efforts accordinglyReports any hazards or injuries in the department or hotel and takes immediate action to correctMaintains rooms in operating condition by performing repairs as neededUnderstands the Room Preventative Maintenance Program (R.P.M.)Can manage full building systems during the shiftPrepares preventative maintenance cart for use each dayReplaces or repairs all appliances and damaged bathroom fixtures; executes general plumbing as neededMaintains overall appearance of rooms; replaces broken mirrors, hangs fixtures, does touch-up painting, etc.Repairs and maintains room's heating/ventilating/air conditioning systemsPerforms preventative maintenance throughout the hotelMaintains the condition of hotel lobbies and restaurantsRepairs furniture, carpet, marble, tile windows, mirrors and decorations as necessaryMaintains operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairsAttends schools or seminars to remain current on proper techniquesCreates 100% guest satisfaction by providing Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectationsGives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest serviceListens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problemsAssumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction GuaranteePerforms other duties as required to provide Yes I Can! genuine hospitalityRequirementsIdeal candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of general facility maintenance experience, preferably within the hospitality industryMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a driving record checkStrong verbal, written and interpersonal skillsWorks well independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detailCommitment to exceptional guest serviceAbility to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situationsAdhere to the policies and procedures of the hotelAbility to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekendsWorking knowledge of computer and math skills.Experience in pool maintenance, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical work is also a benefitCertifications for HVAC CPO preferred.Requirement/Skills Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of general facility maintenance experience, preferably within the hospitality industry Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a driving record check Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills Works well independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail Commitment to exceptional guest service Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends Working knowledge of computer and math skills.
