MPS Reconciliations Analyst

- Daily reconciliation and resolution of position breaks. Take full ownership of position breaks assigned to you to clear on T+1. Escalate and follow up with other internal teams/external custodians appropriately.
- Daily cash reconciliations. Full ownership and reconciliation of cash breaks (dividend, interest, trade settlement cash etc) assigned to you. Identify recurring break types and work with IT and external custodians to resolve at source.
- Daily transactional reconciliation. Full ownership of clearing client transaction breaks assigned to you. This includes cash breaks and transaction type breaks. Working closely with Client Service teams in Belfast, London, NY and Hong Kong to resolve in a timely manner with minimum impact to the client.
- Booking Corporate Actions on T+1 in a timely and accurate manner based on custodian data and using Bloomberg where appropriate.
- Mailbox management to include responding to queries from internal teams relating to breaks, account setups, reporting and ad hoc queries
- Ensure client reporting is accurate and distributed in a timely manner with correct holdings for margin purposes
- Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS or any other relevant regulatory body.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

- A relevant university degree in finance, economics, or related discipline, or recognised professional or equivalent qualification is preferred
- 2-7 years experience* working in professional or financial services
- Familiarity with financial products including cash equities, swap, bonds, futures and options preferred
- Exposure to corporate actions/events an advantage
- Ensure high levels of confidentiality are maintained in relation to the work of the company and clients

- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
