To include all inventory, locations, stock orders, data entries, stock minimums, warranty issues and reorders. Works with technicians and manufactures to obtain all needed parts and assures maximum cost savings.Essential Functions
  • Will process all parts orders initiated by GSE technicians.
  • Will inventory all received parts into data base system
  • Works with manufactures on all warranty issues and coordinates all shipping
  • Controls all stock minimums in GSE parts data system.
  • Assures all outstation contractor parts are secured and shipped in timely basis while documenting for billing purposes
  • Assist in development of GSE preventative maintenance pre draw kits for equipment
  • Assures the best possible cost verses quality parts are being purchased for all GSE equipment
  • Assures GSE data base accuracy from work order input
  • Works with GSE MX planner to assure accurate monthly interdepartmental billing
  • Insures all technician invoices both company and contract have accurate parts entries
  • Assists in creating departmental budget and performance commitments
  • Meets agreed-upon parts budget and performance commitments
  • Computer and administrative functions as assigned by Regional Manager
Other Functions
  • Assist’s in identifying parts trends as they pertain to parts expenses and abuse.
  • Works with purchasing department in procurement procedures.
  • Will make parts pick up and deliveries when required.
Qualifications
  • 2 years minimum automotive parts background
  • ASE parts technician certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must be computer literate with Access data base and or Trax data base.
  • General computer and administrative skills.
  • Must pass physical aptitude test
