- Accurately pick and deliver electrical components as per production requirements, ensuring timely availability for assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Organize and maintain the storage area for electrical components, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilize inventory management software to track component usage, reorder supplies, and update inventory records.
- Collaborate with production team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies in component supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies while handling electrical components and equipment.
- Assist in receiving and unloading new stock shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring quality of components received.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stock handling procedures and reduce waste.
- Review MRP output of safety stock items to ensure accuracy of requirements, and release planned purchase orders to Purchasing based on material requirements.
- Expedite component requirements with Purchasing.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years of recent experience in a related field.
- Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a plus (LN preferred).
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Accurate, neat and computer literate.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
