Senior Project Officer - Embodied Carbon | NSW State Government

• Managing pilot rating processes with stakeholders
• Provide expertise and technical advice, validating the accuracy of the information received
• Undertaking research and analysis to assist with the development of rating rules, auditing processes and training content for external stakeholders
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting on project plans, schedules, status updates, milestones and deliverables
• Share insights, trends and updates with industry
• Onboard Embodied Carbon Assessors and Auditors
• Evaluate and manage the impact of the pilot results on other deliverables prior to the launch of the Embodied Carbon tool
• Act as the subject matter expert, facilitating training the internal team in what the Embodied Carbon tool does and its ratings
• Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels
• Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
• Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS Office suite
• Solid analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills

• High attention to detail

• Demonstrated Project or Program Management experience
• Background in an area related to embodied carbon including sustainable building design and development, construction materials, lifecycle analysis or similar
• Previous experience working within a high pressure and complex environment
• Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
• Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
