- Assembly: execute the assembly of electromechanical components and systems
- according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Testing: perform functional tests and quality checks on assembled electromechanical
- devices to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Troubleshooting: identify and resolve issues encountered during assembly and
- testing processes, utilising diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Documentation: maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, test results, and
- any deviations encountered during production.
- Collaboration: work closely with engineers, designers, and other production team
- members to optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
- Safety Compliance: adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe
- working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Quality: contribute to quality assurance initiatives by actively participating in
- inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: assist in the maintenance and calibration of production
- equipment and tools to ensure they are functioning properly and accurately.
- A formal Engineering/relevant qualification/experience.
- Proficiency in electromechanical assembly techniques, including soldering, wiring,
- and mechanical assembly. Familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical principles
- is essential.
- Some experience with optical assembly preferred.
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and debugging skills.
- SMT soldering (to 0201) and pcb repair skills an advantage.
- Wiring and cable/harness assembly experience.
