Horsham District Council is looking for a Visitor Services Officer to join our small team of staff and volunteers working at the museum. You will be managing our dedicated volunteer team and engaging with our visitors by leading on our visitor experience programme of family activities and retail space.As Visitor Services Officer you will lead on the customer facing aspects of the museum, training and supporting our welcome volunteers and creating children’s trails and family activities that bring to life the museum for younger audiences. You will also be responsible for managing the retail element at the museum which reflects the historic collections within the museum and the creativity of local makers and crafts people.About you:To succeed as Visitor Services Officer, you will have a background in a customer facing environment and excellent people skills with an understanding of delivering dynamic and meaningful experiences in a visitor or event setting.
