ExpeditorCompany: RSA Engineered Products, LLCPrimary Location: 1451 N Johnson Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020 USAEmployment Type: Hourly | Full-TimeFunction: Material Control / LogisticsEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrincipal ResponsibilitiesTo perform all duties of an Expeditor for the company under the direction of Planner Production Control Specialist.Specific work Duties/Essential Functions:Performs in accordance with well established guidelines, necessary functions to assure scheduled completion of materials or parts in an assigned area or to estimate shortages in an assigned department.- Daily inventories of work centers- Cycle count support as needed- Acts in a liaison capacity between departments.- To assist in estimation of bottlenecks or heavy work load in any particular cost center.- Keeps well informed on where assigned parts are at all times, and reports to Planner Production Control Specialist.- Interprets and implements schedules as established by Planner Production Control Specialist.- May on occasion be assigned temporarily to a specific program or customer account for purposes of “Special Handling”.- Shipping/Receiving Support as needed - Performs other reasonable tasks as assignedQualificationsMinimum Education/ Experience:High School Degree plus 6-10 years' experience as expeditor/inventory controlKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in/around metal fabrication function, 6-10 years in manufacturing environment, Microsoft office, word, excel, etc.Essential Physical/Mental Abilities Required:Employee is required to sit, walk, stoop, use hands to finger, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.The pay range for this position is $20.67 - $38.46/hour.
