Sanderson is working with a well known FMCG and they're looking for a specification technologist to join their team. 3+ years experience in food manufacturing is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product specifications.
- Ensure compliance of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with teams for accurate documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review artwork and packaging for compliance.
- Participate in supplier audits.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation.
- Support product launches and modifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with HACCP, BRC, and food safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Experience in conducting audits preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of food legislation and labelling regulations.
- Experience with retailer specification systems.
- Proficiency in product development and project management.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and supplier management.
- Understanding of food safety management systems and testing methods.
