As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students about various religious traditions, beliefs, and practices.   • Develop and deliver comprehensive religious studies curriculum, incorporating diverse religious traditions and their historical, cultural, and ethical aspects.
  • Teach students about the beliefs, rituals, scriptures, and teachings of different religions.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open dialogue and appreciation of diverse religious perspectives.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, utilising a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
  • Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical reasoning in students' exploration of religious topics.
  • Lead class discussions and facilitate respectful debates on religious and ethical issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their personal spiritual development and exploration of their own beliefs.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • QTS or relevant teaching experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple religious traditions and their historical and cultural contexts.
  • Strong understanding of religious ethics, philosophies, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse religious beliefs and perspectives.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to students' intellectual and spiritual growth.
