- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Lead and manage a high-performing supply chain team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services.
- Streamline logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to enhance supply chain agility and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and production, to align supply chain activities with business goals and objectives.
- Implement robust inventory management practices to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence while optimizing inventory turnover.
- Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in the global supply chain, geopolitical issues, and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize data analytics and technology solutions to drive continuous improvement and innovation across the supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Experience working in the Middle East region and knowledge of local market dynamics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced analytics tools.
