Personal Lines Underwriting & Claims Manager – Cape Town CBDUnderwriting and Claims Manager, with minimum 2 years' experience in a similar or Team Leader role and minimum 5 years' Personal Lines Short Term Insurance experience, required to lead a team in managing underwriting processes, claims operations and client relationships. This position is for a national Broker Firm based in Cape Town CBD.Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 essential
FAIS accreditation as per the FSCA requirements essential
RE essential
Minimum 5 years' short term insurance experience required
Minimum 2 years' management or Team Leader experience required

Responsibilities:

Lead a team in managing underwriting and claims processes and provide guidance and support
Manage Personal Lines underwriting process
Assess and evaluate risk factors
Ensure consistency and accuracy across the team
Oversee end to end claims process
Process claims and recoveries
Complaint resolution
Meet SLA's
Client relationship management
Ensure accurate communication with all stakeholders
Performance management
Set objectives and performance expectations
