- Checks stock of clean dishes and eating utensils to ensure servers are prepared to meet guest needs; arranges for clean dishes and eating utensils, if there is insufficient stock, or assists with dishwashing.
- Replenishes beverages and assists food servers in carrying orders from kitchen to table, as needed.
- Maintains clear communication with servers and works in tandem to ensure smooth, efficient guest service.
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift practicing clean-as-you-go procedures: Clears soiled dishes, eating utensils, and glassware as diners eat and upon departure; cleans floors, if necessary; and sanitizes tabletops and seats upon departure and re-sets tables according to established standards.
- Follows established safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to a supervisor.
- Ensures uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
- Displays initiative and ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell to all guests using a guest’s name, when possible, and making good eye contact.
- Fosters a team environment by working collaboratively with co-workers.
- Provides courteous service and is cordial to all guests and team members.
- Resolves complaints in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Serves as an apprentice to food servers.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a smoking environment.
- Must either possess or obtain valid Food Handler’s and Alcohol Awareness cards within three (3) months of employment.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.
- ServSafe certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
