- Work with hromada-level initiatives in supporting the identification of data gaps and capacity building gaps to be addressed
- Compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific project topics, highlighting noteworthy issues for the consideration of appropriate parties.
- Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary.
- Act as focal point for administrative tasks of project implementation, involving extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
- Draft status reports; identify shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest corrective measures.
- Draft correspondence on project issues; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, and other forms of documentation.
- Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions; prepare training materials and participate in the delivering of capacity building workshops.
- Respond to information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.
- Participate in meetings at the hromada and national level; maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, operational partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, civil society organisations, working groups, and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
- In coordination with Data and Analytics' IP management officer, monitor work of implementing partners and report any non-compliance to the supervisor.
- Provide inputs for the development of Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and concept papers and provide general support for the development of new projects.
- Provide guidance/training and assist in coordinating and monitoring work of other staff in the unit; may supervise other staff as assigned.
- Support in the analysis of data into actionable priorities for the hromada recovery plans.
- Support other IOM's initiatives related to data for recovery through coordination and data sharing
- Ensure linkage between IOM field teams and recovery initiatives taking place at the community level.
- Perform such other duties as they might be assigned.
- High school degree or equivalent with six years of relevant working experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Political Science, Education, Law and International Relations or related field from an accredited academic institution with at least four years of relevant work experience.
- Prior work experience in project management and/or administrative positions in international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations.
- Experience in working in the implementation of development or recovery response activities at the local level in Ukraine is highly desirable.
- Experience working within, or closely with, government entities and civil society organizations at the national, regional and particularly hromada level in Ukraine.
- Experience in planning, organizing and implementing training or other capacity building activities would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations in relation to work with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups would be an advantage.
- Experience in at least two or more of the following is highly desirable: procurement; project administration; drafting proposals, including budgets; managing relationships with implementing partners; and event management.
- Strong skills in using the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
- Attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks;
- Excellent oral and written skills in Ukrainian and English;
- Project management skills including especially activity planning, coordination with internal and external stakeholders and partners, time management;
- Strong interpersonal skills.
