[What the role is]
Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (Alumni)[What you will be working on]
The successful appointee will be expected to formulate and implement strategies and programmes to foster and strengthen new and ongoing relationships between TP and its alumni. This includes working with relevant partners and stakeholders, creating strong communication channels online and in person, harnessing technologies for doing so effectively, and leading teams to strengthen alumni engagement with TP.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate institution-wide plans for alumni engagement.
  • Oversee communication efforts, campaigns and platforms online and in person.
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate projects and activities to strengthen alumni engagement.
  • Establish strong ties with alumni, including meeting and profiling prominent / outstanding alumni.
  • Brand TP alumni by building strong equity with key stakeholders (industry, fellow alumni, current students and the community)
  • Manage the use of technology tools such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other platforms for effective communications with stakeholders.
  • Manage the usage of the Student & Alumni Hub
  • Assist, plan, coordinate and execute dept/campus-wide activities, special events, programmes and projects, including the lead secretariat role for the annual Temasek Student Excellence Awards and CCA Scholarships
  • Work with various alumni groups and associations.
[What we are looking for]
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A tertiary education with at least 5 years of working experience
  • Excellent communications (written and spoken), interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Experience in event and project management
  • Strong administrative and technology skills
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office and online tools
  • Being digitally savvy, and experience with social media and marketing strategies will be an asset
  • Willing to work beyond normal office hours to host events / lead overseas trips as and when required
