Job Title: Full-stack EngineerLocation: Central London/HybridTerms: Permanent Full-TimeSalary: Upto £70,000 per annumAre you a .NET Full-stack Engineer looking for a pathway to Tech Lead?Are you a full-stack engineer with the ability to design complex modern applications?Are you interested in building new products for a business that generates £100 million + in revenue?The CompanyOne of the UK’s largest ticket providers is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to spearhead the move to an internal engineering function.Over the last 20 years, they have acquired several entertainment-related businesses including smaller ticketing platforms, mobile apps, venues and production.To date, the various platforms have been supported by a range of external dev houses and agencies and they are now looking to build an internal function to bring all their platforms under one roof.TasksThe RoleYou’ll work alongside a Technical Lead in a full-stack capacity to drive the development of their portfolio of eCommerce ticketing platforms.As the Senior Full-stack developer, the role will contribute to multiple eCommerce products but will primarily focus on owning and driving the development of their core B2C and B2B eCommerce platform.You will work closely with Product and Engineering functions to build best-in-class eCommerce experiences and contribute as they transition the business into a digital and consumer-first organisation with data-driven and user-centric strategies at its core.You’ll contribute significantly to the design and development of robust cloud-based applications primarily using C#/.NET.You will help to guide the technical direction of projects, making strategic decisions on technology stacks, supporting coding standards, and software design - playing a pivotal role in the product delivery team, actively contributing to design, scoping, prioritisation, and the iterative delivery of features.You’ll be responsible for ensuring code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.You can expect to collaborate and support the commercial and operational teams in driving the next generation of software solutions for external and internal customers.RequirementsExperience neededFirst and foremost you will have experience working as a Full-stack developer leading software development on complex systems ideally within eCommerce, although not essential.You’ll need expertise in specific programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., C#, .NET for a .NET Tech Lead; JavaScript, React for a Frontend Tech Lead).You will come with a strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing with Azure, and modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps).Furthermore, you’ll be experienced in configuring, managing and deploying to cloud and on-premises infrastructure using infrastructure as code.Experience in modernising technology stacks including migration to cloud-native technologies will be important.You’ll also need experience in developing server-side APIs and integrating into third-party APIs; exposure to CMS (headless is desirable but not a necessity)Finally, experience working with and coordinating external development partners will be beneficial.BenefitsWhat they offerThis is a career-changing role with the opportunity to design and build products with revenues north of £100 million.The role will suit someone who wants influence across the wider business and management.This role offers an opportunity to step into a Lead role in the mid-term.Talenty will never discriminate on the basis of gender, race, colour, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, or any other protected class.TalentyWe are an innovative recruitment service that specialises in supporting startups with their recruitment, employer brands and employer value propositions.
