Logistics CoordinatorInvolves the preparation of Government & Customs documentation to ensure that any shipments either imported or exported meet all applicable laws so that entry or export can occur, with the proper documentation. Also, clearing all other government documentation related to the country government bodies. Work tightly with Procurement-, Sales-, and Warehouse Management- Department and assist/support overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and productivity. Develop/maintain existing/new relationships with vendors/freight forwarders/and distributors.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process Government & Customs documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Sales, and Warehouse Management to optimize supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong rapport with customers vendors, freight forwarders, and distributors.
  • Facilitate customs clearance and resolve any operational difficulties related to documentation clearing.
  • Keep abreast of national and international shipping rules and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Coordinate import/export shipments with freight forwarders and negotiate freight rates.
  • Prepare orders for delivery/pick-up and coordinate with external service providers.
  • Upload shipping documents on Cargo X.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications/Attributes:
  • Proven Knowledge on Packaging & fumigation regulations
  • Proven knowledge on shipping incoterms.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, clearance or dealing with freight forwarders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English .
  • Exceptional honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills.
