Base rate £12.00 per hourShifts / Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-18:00Job Description:Quest Employment is recruiting for Embroidery Operative roles on a temporary-ongoing basis based in the Fengate area of Peterborough. To be considered for the Embroidery Operative role you will be flexible within reason, dependable, and available for an immediate start where required. All candidates are required to command a proficient level of English speaking, reading, and writing. As a Embroidery Operative you will be flexible in assignments as positions may vary from time to time which may include packing, printing, folding T-shirt, sorting, picking, dispatch, labelling, boxing, and palletising. A certain level of dexterity is required and will be assessed where needed.Our client is a growing company with many opportunities based in the Fengate area of Peterborough. Experience working within embroidery and print production is necessary.Benefits:

Day to day of the role:
  • Packing, folding T-shirts, printing, checking & labelling products
  • General Upkeep of your area
  • Edit and realignment of graphics before printing, or embroiding
  • Changing threads. Including size and colour
  • Be actively aware and understand the Health and Safety
  • Working towards daily productivity targets
Required skills:
  • PC skills / industrial embroiding machine operating
  • Standing or walking for extended periods (depending on shifts)
  • Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, crouching and/or stretching
  • Pushing and pulling up to 15kg in weight / Lifting and moving products up to 15kg
  • Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Accuracy and diligence
