Beluga Rox are searching for a driven Web Designer. As a web designer, you will work with our clients new marketing team and be responsible for designing various websites, digital assets and online customer experience.This is a superb opportunity to join one of the UK's top rated Large Home Care Groups, this is well-established, rapidly expanding care company with a team of over 1,000 care professionals.The role involves research, design, prototyping, multi-variant testing and analysis/evaluation to ensure digital/non-digital customer interactions are user-friendly and intuitive to bring a positive impact on customer conversion and retention.This role is based in a beautiful office in Southport working Monday to Friday 9-5.Responsibilities……
  • Design and develop responsive websites using relevant technologies like WordPress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into design concepts
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate design ideas
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve website functionality
  • Implement SEO best practices to designs to optimize website performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web design and technology
What you Need for this role….
  • At least one year of proven work experience as a Web Designer
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages
  • Strong knowledge of interaction design principles and user-centred design processes
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite to create design prototypes
  • Understanding of usability principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of content management systems, particularly WordPress
  • Experience with back-end programming languages like PHP or Python is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to communicate timeframes and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a collaborative team environment
