We pride ourselves in putting our people and customers at the heart of everything we do – and best of all, provide opportunities to develop skills and build careers through our award-winning Wolseley Talent Guild.As a Category Manager based in Warwick office on 12-month fixed term contract, reporting into the Senior Category Manager in our Plumb & Parts Category team, you’ll be responsible for:Devising, implementing and monitoring a robust and detailed Trading Plan to deliver the customer strategies and associated financial targets. Working cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and implementation of the agreed plan.Accountability for the range architecture so that the ranges meet customer strategy requirements, that are complimentary to the overall WUK range guidelines.Accountable for determining the products to be sold to support each Customer Strategy, maintaining and aligning existing product structures within the product portfolio and overall accountability for the creation and management of supplier relationships that support the customer strategies, as well as proactively seeking out sourcing opportunities in order to maximise results from the wider Wolseley relationships.Awareness and analysis of main competitors and market landscape. This role will require an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of competitors’ offerings and will ensure that this is reflected in the Category range & price architecture.
