We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Value Manager to join our team. As the Social Value Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the positive social impact of our construction projects. You will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and community members to ensure that our projects contribute to the well-being and development of the communities we serve.Responsibilities:Develop and implement social value strategies aligned with company goals and community needs.
Identify opportunities to enhance social value within construction projects, such as local employment, training initiatives, and community engagement programs.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate social value considerations into project planning, design, and delivery.
Establish partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and community groups to support social value initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the social impact of construction projects, and continuously seek ways to improve and innovate.
Communicate our social value initiatives internally and externally, including through reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to social value in construction.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, community development, or business administration. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry or related sectors.
Strong understanding of social value principles, community engagement techniques, and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to social impact metrics.
Creative thinker with a passion for driving positive change and making a difference in communities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
