We are looking for someone proactive and hardworking who feels passionate about working in a secondary school environment and can support children to learn and thrive whilst maintaining the schools high standard of behaviour. The Head Teacher promotes mental, physical and emotional well-being across the school for staff and pupils alike.   • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of students' needs and abilities.
  • Teach fundamental principles of food technology, including food safety, nutrition, culinary techniques, and food science.
  • Organize practical cooking sessions, allowing students to develop hands-on skills in the kitchen.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess student progress through various methods, such as assignments, projects, and practical demonstrations.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience for all.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of food technology concepts and principles.
  • Experience in teaching food technology at the secondary level preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering their love for food and cooking.
