- Provide electrical design services for advanced tech/semiconductor clients
- Design power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial facilities in collaboration with other licensed engineers and designers
- Design low (120V-480V) and medium (2.4kV-35kV) voltage electrical power distribution systems
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce construction drawings
- Utilize SKM and EasyPower to model electrical power systems and perform short circuit, arc flash, and overcurrent device coordination studies
- Utilize Visual software to design lighting for interior and exterior spaces
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction/renovation projects
- Develop electrical design specifications and drawings
- Work on projects through the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases
- Present design progress to clients both in-person and virtually
- Review and approve contractor submittals, and respond to RFIs
- Conduct site observations during design, and installation verification walks during construction
- Work individually and in teams on multiple projects simultaneously to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients
- Attain licensure as a Professional Engineer upon completion of all NCEES examination and experience requirements
- Provide electrical design services for all industrial markets in the western United States including offering remote design support for the Texas, Oregon, and California offices
- Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
- A Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in electrical engineering and design
- Passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
- Knowledge of Revit and a willingness to advance to proficiency
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and a willingness to advance to proficiency
- Experience in the technical application of the NPFA 70 (NEC) building code
- Proficiency in written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations
- Experience in the technical application of the following building codes: NFPA (30, 101, 110, 780), NESC, IBC, IFC, IECC, and ASHRAE 90.1 (preferred)
