- Provide functional support to end users of Oracle Financials and related reporting systems.
- Develop Technical/Functional solutions to fulfil business requirements.
- Participate in the testing relating to change requests/system patches for Finance applications.
- Support the implementation of application, functional, and setup approved changes.
- Provide support to end users of Oracle Financials and finance related applications used as part of their business processes.
- Provide relevant user education/training required as part of the activity to resolve support calls.
- Liaise closely with other IT groups/teams as necessary to ensure the resolution of support calls.
- Produce and maintain system documentation based on key Oracle Aim deliverables.
- Participate in activities relating to projects for Oracle Financials and those which impact and/or interface with finance applications.
- Participate in the testing and UAT activities, including relevant user training, for projects.
- Provide support to ensure that the necessary controls can be developed and implemented to ensure the integrity of finance systems and compliance with Arqiva policies.
- Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation
- Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Arqiva Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information and Arqiva assets
- extensive knowledge of Oracle development tools, including;
- OA Framework
- PL/SQL
- Oracle Workflow
- Oracle APEX Web based application development toolset.
- SQL Developer
- Good working knowledge of Oracle modules/products, including;
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Cash Management
- Property (OPN)
- Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Project Management (PJT)
- Project Costing (PJC)
- Project Billing (PJB)
- Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing bespoke Oracle based applications
- Experience of providing applications support in a financial environment.
- Knowledge and experience of common IT applications in use in business.
- Keen interest in understanding the use of applications functionality to deliver business process.
