Market and trend analysis
Verification of innovative mainframe solutions
Business case creation
Presales support
Participations on proof of concepts
Customer support and consulting on mainframe modernization topics
Creation of solution concepts
3rd level technical support for related applications
Complex problem solving: root cause analysis
Active participation in daily/weekly customer meetings
Running mission-critical mainframe applications (automotive, banking processes, etc.)
Knowledge of IBM industry leading technologies (Mainframe, DB2, WAS and more...)
Development of new standard processes, methodologies and solutions
Automation of operational workflows
Regular contact with German and other international customers and colleagues

QualificationsYour skills:

Strong z/OS system and subsystem knowledge TSO, ISPF, JCL knowledge, Batch/Scheduling knowledge
Strong Database knowledge (DB2)
Strong Middleware knowledge (CICS, MQS, WAS)
Strong Programming knowledge in REXX or CLIST
Strong Product knowledge scheduling (AJM, IWS, Control/M)
Strong Product knowledge mainframe security (RACF)
Experienced in mainframe modernization
Project management
Team-minded/collaborative
Business language skills in English and German (level C1)
