WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Compiling and updating assessment sheets
Assessing jobs and projects including the identification of requirements (scope of work, lead time, materials, labour and process)
Reviewing assessments, photos, supplier quotations and any other relevant data to compile an accurate quotation
Populating all relevant information into the estimation spreadsheet
Record keeping of all relevant information required for quotation (assessment, photos, supplier quotations etc) in the applicable job folder
Issuing customer quotations and contract variations
Post review of jobs and projects and implementing corrective actions to improve quotation accuracy on future jobs and projects.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Proven quotation experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
A self-starter who has initiative and drive for continual improvement
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong knowledge and experience using suite of Microsoft applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High mathematical aptitude
Analytical thinker with strong problem solving ability
Qualification in Estimation/Planning or equivalent
Experience and knowledge in the overhaul process of underground mining equipment would be favourable but not essential.
