  • Market Research and Strategy Development:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research in North America, analyzing industry trends, competitor landscapes, and customer demographics.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and key decision-makers within various sectors to develop effective market penetration strategies.
  • Lead Generation and Business Development:
  • Utilize past experiences and outbound prospecting activities (cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, referrals) to generate qualified leads.
  • Appoint and manage Sales Reps (freelance agents) to enhance market penetration and expand our sales network.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposal Management:
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs, showcasing the value proposition of our automation solutions.
  • Manage proposal development processes, ensuring technical and commercial effectiveness to secure successful bids.
  • Pipeline Management and Forecasting:
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast sales projections and provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
  • Relationship Building and Account Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to stay informed about potential RFQs and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (proposal engineering, design, projects, customer support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in B2B sales within the industrial automation sector.
  • Proficiency in warehouse automation technologies (ASRS, AMRs, Palletizing, Conveyance, WMS).
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; ability to create effective presentations.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to work well under pressure.
