The role will develop and deliver the annual marketing and communications strategy and plan for the service lines (Centres of Excellence) within Mace’s consultancy business across its global hubs.Working with our regional CoEs and service experts to identify opportunities to promote best practice, knowledge sharing and our unique differentiators. You will develop and implement integrated campaigns for our service lines and major milestones, including activities such as content development, event management and thought leadership - while ensuring they can demonstrate ROI.You will be responsible for managing the campaign process end to end; from creative development, briefing, planning, resource management, execution, measurement and reporting.The role sits within a dynamic marcomms team and will work alongside a talented team of experts across creative, communications, brand, events, video and photography, digital marketing and business partners.Naturally curious, you will keep stakeholders up to date on market trends and insight across the built environment and ensure Mace is positioned as a market leader with the most influential clients and targets across the built environment consultancy sector.You’ll be responsible for:
  • Supports COE to achieve business plan and communications plan objectives.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of the annual marketing and communications strategy and plan for AOR.
  • Researches, develops and implements integrated campaigns for AOR.
  • Manages the campaign process through creative development, briefing, planning, resource management, execution, measurement, budget and reporting.
  • Manages the ABM (account-based marketing) process for relevant strategic clients.
  • Collaborates with communications functions (public affairs, campaigns, internal, communications PR etc) to deliver activity for AOR.
  • Works with video and photography team to develop plan for AOR to ensure key content is captured.
  • Undertakes research and keeps up to date with market to provide relevant insights and analysis to the business, including market developments, cascades and shares knowledge with key stakeholders.
  • Provides marketing support for key strategic bids and works on capture plans where appropriate.
  • Ensures adherence to Mace brand guidelines.
  • Is the main point of contact for marketing and communications for AOR.
  • Performs written and edit copy for a range of communication channels.
  • Develops and manages the marketing database for AOR.
  • Develops budget and monitors budget performance in accordance with budget parameters.
  • Works with the digital marketing team to develop targeted campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
  • An understanding of professional services and/or the building/property industry.
  • Experience in the creation and execution of sector plans.
  • Experience in the creation and implementation of integrated campaign plans.
  • Excellent budgeting and planning skills and knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office suite software competence.
  • Marketing and communications experience.
  • Line management experience.
  • Consistently professional appearance, attitude and approach.
  • An international mindset.
  • Project management skills.
  • Results driven.
  • Resilient, able to cope with setbacks as well as able to celebrate success.
  • Confidence with internal and external stakeholder management and communicating at all levels.
  • Degree standard of education (or equivalent).
You’ll also have:
  • Adobe suite software experience, especially InDesign.
  • Market research and sector analysis knowledge and skills.
  • B2B Marketing experience.
  • Client-side experience.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard working hours to deliver events.
  • Chartered membership of CIM or an appropriate professional body (or equivalent).
