The Rainforest Alliance is looking for a performance-oriented, data-driven, and collaborative Product Owner responsible for the implementation and continuous optimization of organizational capability, specifically for software and data products / services.Responsibilities:Ensure digitally enabled business services of the Rainforest Alliance are relevant, user-friendly and deliver value to our customers, members and staff;Work with the portfolio & and planning managers on defining and maintaining the product roadmap, product goal / vision, sharing the results in a timely manner;Define and gain agreement on relevant product epics and stories, ensuring cross dependencies, issues and risks are identified and tracked;Manage expectations of and maintain good relationships with all the stakeholders involved in creating and delivering the product (technology, external service providers), as well as organizational architectural experts;Work with the release manager and stakeholders to establish an approved implementation schedule, setting priorities across the different product streams;Manage the product budget for relevant software / IT development activities to ensure on cost and schedule delivery;Continuously refine, update, prioritize, gain agreement and communicate the product backlog;Update and communicate dashboard progress with senior stakeholders;Ensure product and data quality is maintained; andPromote design thinking, lean and agile ways of working.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in software development, technology or an engineering subject as a minimum, post graduate degree is an advantage.At least 5+ years' experience as a Product Owner delivering software and data products in multinational environments.Deep understanding of lean, agile methodologies (SCRUM / SAFe etc) design thinking, system integration principles.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external stakeholders.Results-driven, accurate, structured and good analytical and communication skills; andFluency in English, both verbal and written.Job Level: 3BSalary: Commensurate with experienceDeadline: May 31, 2024Notes: Only candidates authorized to work in the European countries we are registered in will be consideredThe Rainforest Alliance is creating a more sustainable world by using social and market forces to protect nature and improve the lives of farmers and forest communities.
