Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic, committed, proactive, flexible candidate for an exciting job opportunity as an Account payable assistantPackage:
£30k (rising to £32k on successful completion of probation)Responsibilities - The role will focus on transactional accounting
- Processing invoices and employee expense claims
- Consumable recharging
- Managing the AP inbox and responding to queries promptly
- Processing credit card reconciliation
- Preparation of creditor payment runs
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Timely response to internal and external email queries
- Adhoc tasks requested by the Assistant Accountant.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- AAT Level 2 or 3 (desirable) or University degree in Accounting or Finance
- High attention to detail and the ability to organize your workload
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills
- “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
- Work-from-home Friday (after probation)
