- Work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one assistance and small group instruction to students, helping them to achieve their academic and social goals.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent are advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of children with SEN.
