Account Executive - Higher Education (Remote)

- Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, including net new and returning business
- Contribute heavily to pipeline generation, prospecting, and lead generation
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
- Reach and exceed quarterly quota goals
- Develop and execute strategic plans in consultation with the Director of Revenue to expand our higher education and nonprofit client base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients and partners
- Draft proposals and lead presentations communicating the value of our tools
- Lead product demos with strategic clients
- Manage and conduct research/outreach via email, phone, and text to prospective clients
- Attend conferences for networking, presenting with client partners, and staff exhibition booths approximately 4-6 times per year
- Experience with software sales or equivalent sales experience
- A demonstrated passion for and involvement in higher education, philanthropy, and nonprofit organizations
- A comprehensive understanding of the landscape of prospective clients
- A strong work ethic and goal-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with phone, screen-share, and in-person presentations
- Experience or openness to working remotely
- Ability to create effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced, structured selling environment
- Ability to travel frequently
- Base salary will be $77,000 - $94,000, depending on experience. $115K-$140K on target earnings made up of base salary and sales commissions. Commissions are uncapped.
