Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS
Reports to: Food & Beverage Director
Shifts: Full-time hours including evenings and weekendsThe OpportunityIf you love giving great customer service and want to work as part of a dynamic team where no two days are the same, then this is the opportunity for you. You will serve food and drinks at weddings, corporate conferences and many other events where our guests expect the highest standard of delivery.We want to bring a passionate individual with a drive to learn into our team, to support them in the next steps of their career. This opportunity will allow you to grow your skillset, find your strengths and your areas for development which we can work with you on! Please note that this is a permanent, full-time role and you must be 18 or over due to the handling of alcohol!Responsibilities Include
  • Engage with guests
  • Serve food and drinks to guests
  • Be knowledgeable regarding food and drink menus
  • Build a positive relationship with guests
  • Set dining space for relevant service - weddings, afternoon teas and others
  • Clear spaces after service
Candidate Profile
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Highly enthusiastic and motivated
  • Has strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Goes above and beyond to deliver a high-quality guest experience
  • Previous experience working as a waiter (not essential)
  • Strong personal presentation
