- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate drama into cross-curricular activities
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stay updated on recent developments and trends in drama education, applying innovative teaching approaches when necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or related field
- Relevant teaching qualification or certification, such as PGCE or QTS
- Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, theories, and performance skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning in order to inspire and motivate students
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
