- Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage students' interest and enthusiasm.
- Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to enhance students' dramatic skills and knowledge.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and respect among students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant data, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and participate in school events, productions, and extra-curricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to provide regular updates on students' progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a Drama Teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary education setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of drama techniques, styles, and theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and the school community.
