We are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer.Resposabilities:
  • Conduct on-site observation surveys, create field reports on project status, and project completion regarding compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Create a punch list report to determine corrective actions for field problems.
  • Create a general condition survey report.
  • Familiarize yourself with technical standards / standards, local project regulations, construction practices and thelatest equipment functional concepts.
  • Understand yourself and follow the safety requirements of all projects, including specific site regulations.
  • Perform routine calculations.
  • Participate in specialized engineering associations and academic societies.
  • As a project coordinator with other field engineers, coordinate printing, presentation, and management procedures.
  • Review project drawings and submissions.
  • Develop a MEP test procedure.
  • Develop the operating procedure of MEP
  • Respond to RFIs when requested by the PM team.
  • Performs various management tasks
  • Understanding test run levels and standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
The candidate should have worked on the heavy commercial / industrial electrical system / installation of the sub-system, commissioning, testing, there is a need to have a troubleshooting, and maintenance of experience and knowledge. Candidates must have experience and knowledge of the following electrical systems:
  • Power System / Subsystem - HV / MV / LV
  • Distribution system / unit (high voltage / medium voltage experience)
  • Electrical protection system / scheme
  • Transformers and generators
  • Switchgear (PDU, UPS wrap around, distribution gear with source change function)
  • UPS / STS module
  • General understanding of modern power conversion systems such as transistor-based conversion
  • Ability to interpret raw signal data and processing such as UPS/ generator waveforms
  • Control system / EPMS system / SCADA / PLC
  • Grounding and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of load bank calculation
  • Knowledge of networks and communication systems such as BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field is required. A master's degree in electrical or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven Experience of 4+ Years in Electrical Commissioning or similar role.
  • Experience in the engineering industry/construction industry (added advantage)
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working across multi-geography preferred
  • Expert in IT skills (Microsoft tools)
  • Strong in numerical skills
