The position will report to the Head of Subcontracting Europe, and will be based in Kraków.Key responsibilities:At the office:Developing the subcontract strategy together with the responsible Project Manager,Sourcing, auditing and qualification of construction companies together with an auditing team,Interfacing with other disciplines (HSE, QA/QC, Scheduling, Engineering) to ensure project specific documents like BoQs, Scope of Works, etc. are prepared for inquiry and complied in an ITB document,Coordinating technical clarifications from bidders as well as required updates and revisions to the inquiry document,Preparing and sending of ITB documents to bidders,Evaluating of bids and preparing bid comparisons,Preparing recommendations for contract awards.At the construction site:Contractual and commercial management of subcontracts,Filing of all correspondence and recording of meetings with subcontractors,Evaluation and register of all changes/extra work orders on site,Invoice management and approval,Cost reporting for site related cost,Quantity tracking,Subcontract closeout incl. as built quantities.Are you a MATCH?Science and / or Industrial Engineering (bachelor’s degree or higher), minimum 5 years experience in the functionExperience in EPC subcontracting, engineering, constructionMulti discipline background,International Contract Management skills,Intercultural competences,MS Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables),Fluent in English (incl. writing skills),Abstract thinking competences.Interpersonal skills: Proactive, Team oriented, Effective written and verbal communicator, Strong negotiatorWe offer:Interesting, challenging position in an international company.Work in a multicultural team.Training and opportunities to develop.Attractive compensation and benefits package including private medical care, Multisport card and Group Life Insurance.Possibility to purchase company shares on preferential terms.International exposure.Hybrid work model (2 days in the office).Comfortable office location and modern office space.Our Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
