Tuesday at 7:00-15:00,
Wednesday at 13:00-21:00,
Thursday at 13:00-21:00,
Friday at 7:00-15:00,
Saturday at 12:00-20:00.What is involved?
- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking instruments, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments in trays to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment used in the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust's appointed person.
- The salary is £22,383.00 with enhanced rates for evenings, weekends and bank holiday working.
